STtNG flickering GI

My Sttng had a **** attack this morning.
Its working now but there is something weird going on .

All seem well until I hit start.
then the GI in the shield inserts and the backbox start flickering rapidly.
Also some parts of the display are flickering .Like when it says DCS the inside fill of DCS is flickering.

I suspect a voltage problem somewhere?
Any advice/ideas welcome.

Im just thinking now.After the machine shat its pants the factory settings were restored.
I wonder is it the dim gi setting or something .

yep that seems to have sorted the flickering GI.
But the DMD is still flickering ,it might be flicking when the inserts flash.
Its hard to tell

I'd certainly start with re seating all the ribbon connectors a couple
of times. It can cure a multitude of sins.

Cheers. Had to head out but I took a look at the dmd voltages and they were a good bit out.
I'll try another dmd driver board in it tomorrow.
