Strange science query

Hi all, is the neon on a ss supposed to be on all the time or is it meant to flash on and off with game play.
If its supposed to flash then it looks like i'm gonna have to search for a moc3031 opto coupler.Thanks Ken

Hey Ken, It definitely flashes in attract mode and also when the ball drains and it is adding up the bonus. This vid might help as the guy moves the camera at the end of a ball so you can sort of see, I can't see any vids though showing the topper during gameplay.
