Stern : Star Wars Fall of the Empire

Looks like its just the LEs that are not being allocated outside the US, although how you can call 770 Limited I dont know.

I would guess its down to international Licensing costs for something on the LE artwork and they dont want to pay out if its going to cost them more than its worth for the numbers of LEs hitting the rest of the world.

LE's dont seem to sell out in the UK at the speed they used to, so is LE demand dropping?

LEs are really poor value for money. About £4500 more than a Premium, with <£1000 of extras.

Yeah and then Stern go and release other LEs that aren't LEs like anniversary models, remasters etc.

I honestly don't understand people who buy Stern LEs nowadays. Even if the extra cash means nothing to you, it's like rewarding a dog for biting you. I couldn't do it on principle alone.

Being Spike 3 will the existing 50/60Hz conversion methods work?

Not sure, I think Spike 1 and 2 have been able to be converted via software methods instead of a hardware mod, but could be a risky bet until Spike 3 has landed in the UK and someones had a peak at the software.

Not sure if you will be able to just buy/source a 50Hz Spike 3 CPU/MPU board once a Spike3 game is distributed to the UK and attempt to load the game OS on.

Either that or get a large battery and an DC to AC inverter that will output 110v/120v 60Hz until a solution is found.

Apparently its not available over here due to no CE approval on Spike 3 how true that is im not sure

The quote in the Kaneda post hints its down to licensing, but could be an excuse I suppose, and also says they hope their future releases will be global.

Plus disney need to find a way to scrape back some of that $4Billion they paid Lucasfilm for the rights.
