Not played this machine for a while and when I went to switch it on, ALL settings had been lost including most annyoingly my GC of 1.7B. (ie not due to 2,000 plays reached as that is set to off).

Redid settings and set another score with other records like combos etc. Switched off and left for a while and then when I switched back on, settings and scores etc were still there.

So bit confused as if batery was gone (is a CR2032) not AA, would it not save anything at all or does it mean it's on its way out and needs changing anyway?

Can anyone confirm if this is the case or is it something else. Everything seems to work fine.

Cheers
Greg

Sounds like it’s on its way out - no harm changing that battery while the power is on.

I write on mine with a sharpie pen - ‘Nov 16’ or something. Think they’re supposed to last 5yrs, maybe longer.
