Stern Spider Man stuff

Howdy

Should be getting myself a Spider Man soon. Doesn't look like Cliffys are as widely available as they used to be. Anywhere local that does the complete set, before i go direct?

Also what's hot and what's not for bling and mods on Spidey?

I'd always recommend LEDs but I think Spiderman is one of the few games that would benefit from an LED OCD. The target decals from Pinball centre were great - highly recommend. I'd also recommend the flipper decals as they go very well with the art - remember you've got 3 flippers though. Not sure whether it's part of the Cliffy set but the magnet protector is always worth having on SM. Colour DMD would never go amiss and the colourisation on Spidey looked pretty good although we got rid of ours before we went for one so I'm only talking from video - finally, Col does some genuinely brilliant web protectors for the in-lanes. We got ours in clear and used LEDs to light them blue. Probably my favourite mod on the entire machine.

I got a reply from Cliff, and he said in response to my request for the Spiderman Cliffy set:

"You bet, invoice is sent but need to warn a couple things.

1) I'm constantly backlogged 3-4 weeks so bear with me as always. I'm still a maker, not a store
2) There is some risk since the UK and EU have demanded USA sellers become their tax collectors- and I refuse. Now until very recently my packages still get through but late february I started getting "wheres my stuff" emails and saw a trend of UK and EU orders stuck in los angeles...."

Anyone ordered from him, not received the goods and or lost your money?

The doc ock magnet really is the area which needs the most protection. Cliff sells a carbon fibre ring, but pinball mania also have a mylar circle which works just as well imho.
