i bought a POTC for 3K a couple of months ago, and i think there was a Dark Knight on at 3.5 that i was sorely tempted by, so maybe you will get lucky. prices are falling, everyone says, so if those are a landmark then possibly the prices are now ..... less than those?

I have had all those games in the past except for 24: in order of fun, i think i'd say POTC, BTDK, Avatar, CSI, then 24 which is frankly shi_t, but others will disagree.
good luck in your search. i agree that 'players condition' is all you really need unless you want it as furniture. you can play pinball on an old plank of wood if the flippers are nice and strong.

I’m of the mindset that so long as the playfield is fully working and the condition is commensurate with the age players condition cab is no problem. I played 24 at Pinfest and think it was for sale / sold for £2,200 ish which is a bargain for a Steve Ritchie flow fest. My only complaint was that I seemed to blast through a few modes and I’m not really a good player 😂. If I could fit a wide body I’d have looked at a JD or STTNG- both decent priced games that have sold recently

I haven't played potc or 24 but I really enjoyed csi, some great shots and mechs compared to what modern sterns have on em.. I'd put it well before avatar, barring the crap theme it shoots better and has better shots imho... but avatar is a **** theme too for me. Btdk is the best of the lot, love the game, hate the artwork though..woild love you try the other two, potc and 24 to see how they compare but none appeal to me theme wise.

I’ve played all four and enjoyed them- not keen on WOF for a few reasons. If I had the £ id go for a SM but think they’d be a bit more again?? Who knows- I’ll add it to the list- SM if anyone interested in selling a players condition?

Monopoly is actually decent too I'd have one if price was right tbh..again theme sucks but a solid shooter with good ruleset for the time and you ain't getting an art package with a load of actors dodgy headshots on it (personal pet peeve) and whitestar of course but I've got a soft spot for it.ike to try a roller coaster tycoon too

Pirates is pretty fun, there one on Bangor in a board gaming shop as well as stern indy.

Thanks mate but this is a case of someone else mentioning they like Monopoly on my wanted thread. The game didn’t do much for me when I played one- reasonable deal for someone £2.6k but 3 advert photos don’t help to show condition. Certainly looks better than the £3k starting price skills post version on Ebay

Anyone thinking of moving one on?

Cash waiting…

I am on with a Spider-Man that will be available in a week or so but it would be a bit over your budget

What’s the general condition like and what are you doing on it? Anything of note with doc ock wear or ramps?

If there is any Doc Ock wear then Cliffy does a carbon effect sticker that covers it nicely - think it was either $7 or $9 inc postage - available in 2 thicknesses depending on how much wear you need to cover

Are they 25 inch wide playfield body? I struggle to get a standard body through my house and have shark finned so assumed a wide body is a no go even shark finned. Door access to the rear of my house is 25” exactly but I’d imagine that a wide body wouldn’t go

WOZ body is just under 25".

Yeah- I think it would damage the cabinets. It’s a shame as I think STTNG is a great game. Never played JD but I hear generally good things. Thanks for the input guys
