Stern Pro Verifying image

Switched on deadpool this evening and for the first time since new (6 months) it’s not booting straight into the game but comes up with the code V1.05.0 and goes through a verifying image process. Then boots to the game albeit with some oddities like weak shaker motor.

Then it crashed and rebooted again to the same thing. Has my sd image become corrupted?
Is this normal?
Any help would be appreciated.

The last code release for Deadpool was November 2021, has it got the internet connected kit on it ? If so, what are the update settings set to ?

Stern SD cards do appear to be a little flaky, might be as easy to flash a new one with the latest code.

Thanks for your reply. It’s not got insider on it yet, it’s running the last code before the insider update. I took the sd card out and re-sat it in the slot and it’s played through a few games so maybe ok now.

Sounds like your SD card might be on the way out. I'd get a new one and make a dupe of your current card. Or burn a new card - you can find instructions on how to do this on the stern website.

Just an update on this, it was actually my fault. I changed the boot up from fast to slow in the menu, really just to see what it did and forgot that I did it. It caused chaos. Very strange, but its back to normal now.
