Stern Pinball Announces Move To Larger Facility to Support Growth

World’s Leading Maker of Arcade-Quality Pinball Machines Moves Headquarters to Elk Grove Village, Illinois adjacent to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL – April 29, 2015 – Stern Pinball, Inc., the world's oldest and largest producer of arcade-quality pinball machines, today announced its move to larger facilities in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, just minutes from Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. The new 110,000 square foot facility, located at 2001 Lunt Avenue, enables the company to consolidate operations to improve efficiencies and better support global growth initiatives.

The expansion is in response to the continued worldwide growth of the pinball industry, the resurgence of which has been fueled by a rapidly growing international collector community, expanding competitive player leagues, and renewed commercial demand driven by a new generation of players discovering the allure of the silver ball. The new facility approximately doubles the company’s design, engineering, and production capacity.

“We’re looking forward to calling Elk Grove Village our new home,” said Gary Stern, Chairman and CEO of Stern Pinball. “The proximity to Chicago O’Hare Airport, one of the largest and busiest airports in the world, will make it even easier for pinball fans around the globe to visit our facility as well as metropolitan Chicago, the ancestral home of modern pinball.”

If I ever came across a street called Lunt Avenue, i'd feel compelled to get a marker pen out to sort the Lunt out
