Stern Language settings help needed!!

I have just picked up a LOTR from Italy, but can't change the language. I went through the manual and have adjusted the dip switch settings on the cpu board to uk setttings but still the language is Italian!!! I tried re-setting the machine from the board but still no joy.



Am i missing something? will i need new roms?



Any ideas would be great!!

unless it's a new LE one.IF that's the SAM board you could upload via the USB,assuming the LE's have the SAM board in
