I just signed up at the $75.

I was thinking it looked great until I saw the price (about £80/year after the 1st year). If I was in America I would be more tempted but the additional benefits aren't really of any use in the UK.
I still fancy it though and will probably end up trying if for a year at the introductory price once I find some way of justifying it to myself!

It was $39 originally and that's being kept for the original all access people. If you sign up before 31st it'll be $79 for the next few years.

I wasn't aware of all access before now, $39 would have been good.

Ah thanks for that, from the email I had read it as $79 for the 1st year as all the features were rolled out and then $100/year after that.

Slippery slope. 100% disagree with this. Like car manufacturers hiding features behind a subscription paywall.

All this does is make stern inc a much more valuable company as they build a sizeable ARR business (Annual Recurring Revenue).

$39 i would have been in. For the extra it actually gives (Living outside of the US), $79 isnt worth it IMO

Plus - Yes i hate the subscription models too

Seriously, could be interested if they do something cool with the local high score screen thing, im assuming it will just be like the ones in bars though so not very adventurous.

It will be cheaper with adverts thrown in I'd imagine soon enough.

I don't own any sterns so it's not for me. But I don't understand the high score table thing, surely it's pointless unless you own only sterns?

I use iscored for a digital score table at home and can put any game I want on it. I think even if I owned one stern I'd keep IScored for the 20+ other games
