Hi all - got a new HRC in with a couple of confusing issues.
1. When turning on the right side GI is out, but the left is fine - this is a new issue since yesterday.
2. When using the flippers, the DMD on the slot machine flickers (Not sure if this is intentional?)
3. Sometimes when starting a game the only lights that will work on the backboard are the second from left and two centre lights

Any ideas?

I should add the third issue tends to resolve itself after turning off and on which makes it slightly more confusing!

Thanks for your help! I'll be honest, the first time I opened a backbox was yesterday, so I'm not quite sure what you mean by connectors?

Just double checked and still nothing. Can’t see anything obvious on the boards (fuses / charred) either. I’ve attached a photo of the fuses marked for G.I lamps in the back box - do they look fine? Not sure what a normal fuse would look like! On F25 there’s a white mark on the glass but I don’t know if that’s anything to do with its actual function.

Have you got a DMM. digital multi meter? continuity test.

White mark on glass of f25 is typical of blown fuse but you need to check with dmm. Gi issues may well be cracked solder joints on the connector pins of the board if not something simple like connectors. Best to check the simple stuff first and Alanj seems to be leading you through it. Paul

Thanks for all the help guys we’ll definitely have a look - I’m away from the machine for a while so can’t work on it myself but I’ll be sure to update when we’ve tried everything on this thread and (hopefully) find the gremlin!

Yes. 5 amp slow blow 1.25 inch

Hi all - so I'll soon be back with HRC and thought I'd come here for some help. We replaced F25, but no dice. The two issues I've got is the right side GI out, and sometimes the Roulette wheel will sort of stutter along in the middle of play, and when this happens a ball will not plunge to the shooter lane once its drained.

Any ideas?

We've replaced F25 which is what I thought would be the bad one but I'll do all of them just in case. It's off all the time if thats what you mean by when the game gets power?
