Hi guy's has anyone even experienced a problem with their stern where the ramp diverter is not diverting? grand prix has 2 ramps both lead to the wire forms that run down the table, the left goes into the wagon then fires to the right and then runs down the table to the flipper, the right ramp however isn't registering the ball passing under the spinner and thus not diverting the ball to come down the left wire form. are there any things to check out before replacing the ramp switch / relay coil and armature assembly.?? many thanks the relay coli is located under the black plastic "race control" assembly half way dow the right of the play filed. Many thanks James

The simplest thing to do I the first instance is check the switch in test. If it's not registering then it negates any further investigation.
It could need an adjustment or it could need replacing or could have a wire off.

If it does register in test then start looking at coils etc...

Thanks guys, switch test revealed disconnected connector doh! Just incase anyones reading this to do a stern switch you need to go to portal menu / diag / switch test / then press the switches with the glass off.. i originally thought the machine self tested but within seconds i found the fault.. much apprecaite the help guys.
