Wanted Stern GB and SW Toppers

Whats the chat with these over priced bits of plastic? Both games are great and going to be with me long term and I know the toppers are interactive so I'm willing to add them but do people order from Stern, @philpalmer or american dealerships like https://www.flipnoutpinball.com/product-page/star-wars-topper ?

Are they worth it in your opinion? Did you incurr any Import charges if you've bought them? How did you get yours? Anyone got a spare one lol?!

I have the Star Wars R2D2 Topper, which I got from @philpalmer

As a huge Star Wars fan, I love it! Was it overpriced?, yeah, but then everything else in pinball is too!

I think the R2D2 really finishes that machine off! I would like to see a code update to increase the interaction, but it is already pretty good.

Edit: Just to add, I think the R2D2 Topper is limited to 500, which given there were 800 LEs doesn’t sound like a lot to me (especially given the comic art edition has also been released), so I wouldn’t hang around if you see one.

He doesn’t as a rule they are not worth the hassle
Best place to buy them from is pinball universe but I don’t think anyone has the gb one and the sw one must be low on stock if you can find it

Good luck getting either.
My GBLE has a topper and I have been asked a few times if I would sell it.
it came with the topper and it will go with the topper, however I think someone recently paid 2-3k for a batman topper if I’d known I would of sold mine as that’s just crazy.
Seems Everything has a price so if anyone wants my GB for 2-3k it’s there’s no problem I won’t miss it that much with the money to buy an actual pin for it
