Got a Sopranos here (not mine) with flippers that work but aren't great..... before cleaning and/or purchasing a rebuild kit, have noticed BOTH of them have one leaf of the EOS missing !? So effectively, the rotating arm hits nothing.... I'm surprised the flipper works. Will this contribute to why the flippers aren't strong !? There's no sign of a break and odd that both are the same.... Cheers.

I had a game that had both the pauls/pauls/pools/(sticky out bits that hit the eos!) broken randomly on both sides so had a bit of a masterclass in eos and yes, without them flippers will work but power won't drop at end Of Stroke so main coil will get weaker/burn out over time, definately reinstate them..

I would say you need to change the end stops, plungers as well as fitting new EOS switches.

The EOS activators also fall off on these, but your two are fine.

Do not forget these are normally closed switches and the flipper EOS breaks the circuit.

OK cheers, both must have broken off then... just appeared like done on purpose by whoever operated it !? Didn't realise they would still work....

Yeah, my usual flipper repair action... ta. Was just trying to fathom the EOS thing before spending the £ as these didn't actually seem that bad other than a bit of cleaning.
