looks like my ledBar:
I have deliberately reduced current on mine so they are nice and bright for bally playfield inserts, but by changing the resistor, could make it super bright. the SMD Led i am using will draw 150mA and is pretty bright. (I used a warm white, but can also get cool white.
I would happily make some of those stern ones, if someone has a spare they can send me - so I can get dimensions and figure out how bright it needs to be. They'd work out around £1-£2 depending on how many orders we could get??
I dont have any unfortunately, however would be up for 16 of them for a "project" i'm working on...
Here's what a guy was saying on Pinside...
they're pretty easy to make. I used a 22 Ohm resistor and a STW8Q14C-V5W5 SMD LED. No idea if these are the actual LEDs as they seem a tad warmer than the ones Stern uses. As I said I'm no electronics expert, but I measured the actual flasher led with calipurs, used the resistor value (22r0), and just started narrowing down the results.
