Nothing special really, just a strip and clean. She needed it after pinfest and the subsequent honeymoon in my shed...

Thought I'd post photos in case that helps anyone who's trying to piece one of these back together. Most of the photos in this post are before cleaning (as reference).

This is about as far as I stripped, give or take... (forum needs an option to rotate pics!)


These ramps plastics are huuuge and a bit of a pain to work with Needed a good clean, and I can definitely tell that the ball goes faster around the ramps now!


This was the "worst" bit of damage - a slightly rusty gate. Don't have the adequate rust-remover here, but polished it with some novus 3 and fine grit sandpaper and got most of it off...



I've now got her back together - need to get some photos of that. Not marking as complete as I still want to take the lower playfield out and give that a good clean. But wanted to enjoy a few games in the meanwhile

Oops - forgot to update this thread, it's been a while

Anyway got the lower playfield out - that's pretty easy only requiring 4 screws. Only issue is, it's still attached by a bunch of wires with no easy connectors... BK3's upper playfield was far better designed in this respect.

Cleaned it up, put a new ball in there, and gave the underside of the "window" in the main playfield a good rub with Novus 1.

Also fitted the PIN2DMD since I *finally* got the colourisation working with help from @Ashram56 (massive thanks!). Here's a little video of that:

Sourced some beautiful mirror blades from @CHRIS B PINBALLS, installed tonight - kudos to my wife for helping me get the playfield out and back in (No she doesn't read this.)

Really enjoyed this machine but as 2 newcomers are in the building its time has come... It is going to a very good home where it will be enjoyed by a great many people

Before leaving it got a full rerubber, new balls, and another good clean. Also installed a shooter lane protector because why not?
