Stargate owners help needed to look at sound boards

I got no sound or speech. Sound board led is lit solid instead of flashing, aux sound bd led is not lit. There is no chip in AROM2 top left on aux snd bd. Should the be?

No. The backbox picture on the IPDB also shows the AROM2 slot empty.

As a starter for 10, try reseating all cables and ribbon cables on sound boards, driver board and MPU. Then check wires to speakers.

Apologies i should have put this in when asking about the missing chip.
I’ve already done this a few times already with the cables n ribbon cables.
I have 5v, 12v and -12v on the sound boards as well. All I’m getting is a crackle and humming in game play
