Stand up target (Demodog #6) was false triggering when flippers were used.
Node board 8 happens to be under the flippers and this switch is connected to CN11.
In game & test mode this switch now doesn’t work at all. It DOES however still sometimes trigger in test mode when flipper is pressed.
It also triggers when you unplug CN11 and again when you plug it back in.
Leaf switch and wires look fine.
Seems to be connector/vibration issue but no amount of reseating seems to help.
Any ideas please?

Strange one for sure.

Have you tried a complete factory reset ? And check the SD card is installed right (unlikely to solve but this is very wierd)

What code version is on the game ?

Next thing would be to swap the two node boards and see what that does.

Also check the cables around the coin door nodeboard.

Neil.

Latest code installed, factory reset hasn’t helped, re-seated SD card & Ethernet cables. Reseated coin door node connectors.
Really don’t want to be swapping nodes after just 10 games [emoji35]

Reflowed solder on switch, worked again for 5 minutes!

Yeah but I’ll pin the issue down and electrocoin can send you a board out…

Very strange but took target out (but still connected) in case it was jamming on. Still not working so loosened the bracket that keeps the target straight, started working fine. Retightened - all ok! Must have been intermittently shorting against the anti sway bracket.
