So, the Space Shuttle I bought kinda "by mistake" because it was only a mile down the road isn't my cup of tea, so it needs to go. The listing is still on Ebay :

Game is fully working, all the displays are nice and bright, plastics in great shape. No flaking on the backglass which is 100% apart from a one scratch which has been touched in at some point. Playfield is looking fairly tired (about right for a 30 year old), but nothing worn through to the wood. Ramp is a bit cracked and has been repaired in the past, and the shuttle model is a little cracked too. Some more checking on the wiring wouldn't be a bad thing, and that 13A mains fuse on the flipper power supply should be sorted out too :)

I've stripped the playfield down, cleaned it and re-rubbered and also fixed the ball lock that the listing mentioned wasn't working (just a switch needed adjusting).

Just looking to get back what I paid for it - £430, or swap for something else (projects OK) around the same kind of price. I'm in Maidstone, Kent. If you have something to swap/trade. we could meet somewhere in the middle transport wise to swap over..

So glad someone else got in their first because now I don't have to agonise over deciding whether to get it or not even though I don't really have the money ;) Space Shuttle is a very cool game. Surprised it didn't take your fancy? Each to their own, of course!

Sold to Mr Vince (sorry Tony, he beat you with a PM by around 30 minutes).

Yep. Same here. Was just thinking that it would be awesome next to its sister game ....Space Station  Then I had to punch myself in the face , remembering that I have no space for my SStation (its in permanent orbit around my mums place), let alone a Shuttle beside it.

Considering Space Shuttle is a table on The Pinball Arcade (Season 2, Table Pack 13) I'm surprised it didn't fetch a bit more? Is £400 a fair/reasonable price? I'm so used to my other favourite pins from TPA (BLACK HOLE, FIREPOWER and CENTAUR) going for silly prices that I assume anything from TPA carries a premium price tag. Having said that, a project Stern FLIGHT 2000 went for a song on eBay and I kick myself for not grabbing that one.

I was expecting the auction on Ebay originally to go higher - the £430 was a snipe that I put in not expecting to win. That said the pictures weren't great and one ball lock was stuffed with a tissue as it didn't work.

Now it's cleaned up and the ball lock sorted, I could probably have taken better pictures and a video and thrown it back up on Ebay again and made a few quid on it. But I'm a great believer in karma, plus Matt's going to be using it in some league meets, so I'm happy it's going out the door for the same I paid. When the karma catches up someone will offer me a Fire! or a SoF for a nice price someday !

Seconded. Makes a change from eBay sales clearly over inflated with people out there just wanting to make a few quid.
