Wanted South Park

Yup, one above looks pretty rough looking at the lock down (maybe rest of machine ok?) reken its a 2 - 2.5k game in that condition in today's market?
The one I sold had fair amount of lockdown and flipper button cab wear - think common on these as they got battered on site - good earners by all accounts. But rest of playfield etc was decent.

Maybe it is worth a look?

One on fb just popped up for 8k (made me giggle) the true reality is getting a 90s machine for under £2500/£3000 is near impossible. I don’t agree. I was after collecting the wide body’s. And have stopped looking as I can’t bring myself to pay the price some people think they’re worth.

None of us like it but People are buying at that price though - so technically they are worth that 😁
A couple of years ago they were ‘worth’ X, today worth Y, next year Z ….. just gotta roll with it. I still think of dmd games being 500 but those days are long gone.

I completely understand but I am not talking years ago I purchased popeye 8 months ago for £1500??? And it was reduced by a £100 because no one wanted it! So what’s it worth now 2.5
So the price has risen By 1k in under a year

Firstly - good choice as Popeye is awesome 😎 However most people hate it . I wont get into that here you can read my Popeye Essay elsewhere on here.
It’s value ???? To you and the seller at that time it was 1500 but now dunno …put it up for sale and see how you go. Which leads me to my second point ….

Secondly - there is no hard and fast rule book of pricing . Good for you scoring a game at that price…. But as much as you want prices to be ‘low’ … whatever that is …. the market decides. Recently demand is high , supply is low and people are paying what they are happy to pay .

I was lucky about 3 years ago , very lucky , to buy a 1992 game for £50 …the sellers asking price. Seriously. I even offered more but he was happy as it was free to him , and so I was happy. In this pinball world that is not the usual ‘market ‘ value. See the dilemma ?
