Sound problem with Elvis

I have a new problem with the Elvis, every so often the background music will start to play (not attract mode) and I have to turn the pin off to stop it playing, also when it starts to play it will be full blast for a split second and then play at normal volume.
sometimes when I turn it back on I have no sound or no music but sound effects, when this happens I have LED1 flashing on the CPU sound board.
Is there a page someplace that explains what the each LED will indicate as the manual does not tell me anything and im sure these fault LED's are a great place to start with any fault.
I will remove the roms later and put them back as with my other electronic projects I knows those sockets do not always have a perfect connection.
Many Thanks

Reseat everything in the sound section of the board that is socketed and try upgrading the sound system software

hopefully it is something simple as the sound hardware is not entirely repairable on these. The late Whitestar boards are when Stern when into "f*ck you" mode, and decided that only they should be able to repair them

Thanks I have been searching for that 157 bulletin as the links to the stern site for it no longer work.
Many Thanks

It looks like just removing the roms and putting them back has solved the problem.
