Next up is my Time Crisis 3 twin.
I bought this off an operator a few years ago. Someone had bungled the connectors between the gun station and the main cab so there was no input. It was a pretty simple wiring fix and board change and my friends have loved playing it.
This is the SD version with the white cab all as one unit. I prefer it to the American version with the square cab.
PROS
- both guns working with recoil, pedals working, shots reacting as they should
- all lights working.
CONS
- player 1 screen is a little dark, I’ve adjusted the levels so it’s not noticeable during gameplay.
- player 2 sometimes fails to read the disc on boot. You could replace the reader, but it’s always cleared on a reboot so I’ve never bothered.
- cab is in ok condition, a few cracks to the white speaker ovals and also some knocks to the base of the chipboard which have been poorly repaired.
Collection from streatley on Thames, it’s a single unit so heavy to move but it is on casters.
Thanks,
Harry
