OK, OK, OK up for sale is my LW3, Overall it’s in decent condition, but would benefit from a set of decals or cabinet respray. I actually had 2 of these(I know, lucky me) and I parted out 1 of them so I kept all the best bits for this one. So there is nothing missing and a lot of spares although I’m going to start selling the spares if this doesn’t move.
Good bits:
Playfield completely stripped, cleaned and polished, very little wear, there is some slight marks around Mels head(not noticeable, see pics).
All original plastics, one broken on the left.
All new williams plastic star posts
New lane guide plastics
Wire forms polished
Cool white non ghosting LEDs throughout.
PinballSP colour DMD
Rotten dog DMD controller board
New coin door(mechanism not included).
Legs resprayed, new levellers
Gun ball launcher resprayed
Drop targets cleaned and springs replaced
Recent rubber replacement
Cliffy post sleeves all round(some not in pictures)
Bad bits:
The coin mech loom is a bit hacked so if installing a mech will need attention.
There is some light marks around Mels head on the playfield, this is barely noticeable and would probably wet sand out.
Missing topper/siren, there is a crappy Chinese one there.
Plastic backglass lift trim could do with being replaced, it’s cracked.
Plastic trim that playfield glass slots into is cracked.
There is a few marks on the translite
No lock mechanism on the head
Lockdown bar has a dent and has previously been “repaired”
Side rails need a respray.
The cabinet is in really good solid condition but the artwork has been touched up poorly over the years and there is some overspray and some mismatched paint. If I was keeping this I would personally just respray the blue as the art actually isn’t bad.
Anyway, located in Dublin, here’s some pics, I can strap it on a pallet for shipping and have some spares I can throw in including a set of wireframes, ramp, drop target mechs, some plastics.
