Hi guys
I have a getaway that has stopped working and on power up says slam tilt. Game won’t start just ignition sound effect like I can’t start my car lol
Slam tilt switch is open circuit. The diode is working and when switch pressed it registers in test mode.
I’ve press tested all switches in same row and column and all register correctly.
However if I close the coin door the slam tilt switch no longer makes the beep noise in test nor tells me which switch I’ve pressed but it does put the x in the correct place on the matrix.
In switch test if I press the coin door closed switch it sort of makes a double beep but says coin door switch. The switch tests ok through my meter. For some reason the coin door closed switch doesn’t have a diode but neither does my fishtales sat next to it???
I’ve not found any wires broke off. Yet. Or disconnected diodes.
Just remembered it did do a total reboot like a 5v reset a few games earlier.
I think I better check my 5v
Anyone else had similar problem and can offer a solution.
TIA
Moose
