Being a slam noob and me worrying about things. Is there a specific place we have to stop to unload? And where do we dump the vans?

you'll see when you get there Rudi, it's all pretty easy. there will be trolleys and hand trucks around, and people will help if you ask. just park next to one of the two sloping cement wheelchair ramps by the front door

oh dear, what have you started, Roger?

if you bring a Shadow, you're obliged to approach people with the line "the sun is shining"

Rudi, don't forget the tradition where you have to throw your machine keys into a bowl and pick a partner.....

Last minute checklist for you:
  • Power cord if detachable
  • Balls in a bag (snarf), label bag
  • leg bolts in a bag, label bag
  • Legs wrapped up, labeled inside for machine and which corner
  • Mobile power usage machine that you plug your machine into so they know how much power you owe the SLAM
  • Anti-bacterial wipes as you are responsible for the illnesses people get whilst touching your machine, see health care insurance
  • Liability insurance
  • Healthcare insurance
  • Building warranty
  • Spare pants
  • Newbies should then report to the nearest open bar and take drinks orders

...not forgetting to wander around all working pinball machines offering the owners a trade for The Shadow.
