I have put extra thought into this years main comp rules having read some of the feedback after the NLP comp. They reward you the higher you qualify. (qualifying is 11 games so you will deserve it)
Doors open and qualifying starts at 10am, qualifying closes at 4pm for the raffle.
There are 11 qualifying games to be played from a selection of 14 machines.
Top 16 progress
Quarter Finals
Four 4 player groups, playing 2 games chosen by the top seeds (highest first).
The groups will be seeded (1,8,9,16 etc).
A player choosing can only nominate a free machine to play (top quaifier gets first choice, then 2nd etc).
Points awarded in each game are 7, 4 2, 1 (all ties decided over a one ball game on lowest numbered machine available).
Top 2 progress from each group.
Semi Final
Two 4 player groups, playing 2 games, chosen by Q/F winners (highest qualifier first).
The groups will be seeded by position in last round and qualifying position.
A player choosing can only nominate a free machine to play (top quaifier gets first choice, next highest etc).
Points awarded in each game are 7, 4 2, 1 (all ties decided over a one ball game on lowest numbered machine available).
Top 2 progress from each group.
Final
4 player group playing 3 games, chosen by the winners of S/F (highest qualifier first) and highest qulifing 2nd.
Points awarded in each game are 7, 4 2, 1 (all ties decided over a one ball game on lowest numbered machine available).
All players exiting the comp in a tied position will be seperated by qualifying position.
