Have just bought a Baywatch - my first Sega. The Knocker is activated in the settings but there is no knock sound in test. Should there be a physical coil somewhere, if so does anyone know where it should be as it does not appear to be in the back-box?

Hi Paul,
the knocker is usually in the cabinet bottom, near to the speaker - they are often missing with just 2 wires sticking out.
On my Sega Goldeneye the wires were there but it also had a sound generated knocker.
When you are in test you have to press the start button to activate the coil (and shut the door if there is an interlock switch).
Cheers
Garry

So, there is no physical knocker in the machine :-o. Next to the speaker there is a counter, which I guess counts coins? I guess I can disconnect this and fit a knocker to the same wires? :hmm:
