long shot here guys I know, anyone got a SS there thinking of parting with before or after new year?
Promised myself I'd take a long break from pinball but alas after parting with my TZ I need another fix

It's an enigma is SS. Looks great, sounds fantastic but the gameplay doesn't quite justify the asking price IMO. With a deeper ruleset it would have been a killer game.

It is an interesting one Andrew and coming from a much cheaper purchased TZ I was a little concerned, however, SS seems to fit my playing needs at the mo ie, simpler ruleset....great theme, lot's of fun! Just a shame it's up there with TAF, LOTR, TOM, CV price wise!
Mind you reasonable prices seem to be for most pinballs at around 200% to what they were 2-3yrs ago now.

It still has a mean wizard mode which would be hard to complete. I've not completed the stiff-o-meter yet. Been a handful of times more than half way up but keep losing my nerve. Get too excited..lol Truly a brilliant title..

The stiff o meter gets you to Scared Stiff which never gets old, seeing the flippers do their own thing is a thing of beauty.
The real wizard mode is the Spider Multiball though, I've never got there but been one away a couple of times, and kept missing my target.

Running two balls simultaneously during the multiball, hitting the two main ramps in sequence is a fantastic feature of this game
