Noob on 'here', but long time lurker, been living in US now back in UK. Used to have a mint HUO SS, along with 25+ other pins, before selling up and emigrating 15 yrs ago. I miss the SS and others and am actively building up a collection again. Healthy price paid for a really nice machine, can view and collect from anywhere in the UK. What have you ?!? PM’s please.

You were lucky to get one offered.
The days of getting multiple machines offered on a wanted post are long gone.
Usually from asking for a machine it takes weeks months or not at all.

Manny was a chap who did qualify refurbishment on games. He specialised in woodworking (his trade) so all his cabs were top notch.

In the backbox. Others just had a sticker/Card in the cabinet.

Not had any positive replies to my request to find a really nice SS as a keeper in exchange for a pile of ££'s !

I know they're desirable but surely someone in the UK can be bribed tempted to part with one .. because they've got an itch to get the latest Stern or JJP pin or whatever ?!!?

I’m not operating within a budget, the problem is finding a UK based owner with a solid SS that is actually interested in selling. So far I’ve had a few of PM’s with zero follow up, from one chap with a nice sounding one but nothing further, another who knows a friend of friend down the pub round the corner who knows of one stuffed away at the back of damp lock-up, and a 3rd chap trapped within the EU who explained how Brexit means he can’t sell it unless I physically inspect and collect .. involving a 3,400 mile round trip !!!!

At present, asking Cassandra Peterson out on a date would be easier ..

Maybe she’ll give me a stifficate for trying ..

About as perfect as is possible to imagine, plus some nice upgrades like a colour DMD, mirror side blades, cosmetically amazing all over. Just wow
