I don't doubt that mate but understandably people are hanging onto them. If there was one available I'd buy it today.

Elvira is too expensive at the moment anyway, for the money they're asking I'd want something more. I'll wait for the JJP announcement before deciding on a third machine (assuming work is okay).

Buying the JP pro has taught me that I really like the value of the Stern Pro machines. I absolutely love the game at that price point and not sure the the £2k extra of the Prem gives me two thousand pounds more enjoyment.

If I were paying £8k + for a machine I'd like it to be like one of the beautifully made JJP's.

If I could eventually get a couple of newish Sterns and one JJP in that mancave Wifeshed I'd be buzzing.
 
Recently got a DI JJP, lovely machine and built like a tank although the pc side of things did worry me. Adjusted a couple of the usual mechanical things with this and not even opened the backbox since getting it🤞Pinball on steroids.
My list of WPC Pins I own has got a lot smaller. Never thought I would say that!

I remember when we were in Chief that you weren't so keen on the modern stuff.

I very much felt the same and it's easy to get swayed by a lot of the anti Stern stuff that gets written. It was really the trip to Neil's that opened my eyes because every single one of those Sterns looked and played superbly.

There's the counter suggestions that JJP's are no fun but I don't buy into that either.

I'm into my cameras and those forums are no different to Pinside. People that shoot with Nikon don't like Canon and people with Sony's think everyone else's cameras are crap.... all of those cameras would blow your mind in terms of quality.

My conclusion is that you're a very lucky boy if you have a JJP, Chicago or a Stern in your home to play at your leisure.

That Aerosmith looks fantastic, the Wonka looks out of this world. Anyone would be blessed to have them.

That being said the 30 year old Getaway looks tempting 😂😂😂😂

Best thing I ever did was buy a small holding!

I told head office; “The house is yours the outbuildings are mine”. There’s tractors and quads in those buildings she doesn’t know exist and long may it stay that way!
