Royal Rumble - small issues

Hey guys

Really loving my WWF Royal Rumble. Have fixed a few issues but one or two have me stumped.

1. Left Ramp Enter switch not working. Switch looks physically good, hear a nice clicking sound. Have checked continuity of diode - good. Rest of switches on column and row work fine. Pins look good, connectors in question are not burnt. Is this just a case of replacing a switch or is there something else I can try?

2. GI is confusing. There is a GI relay test which looks good but the GI in the middle of the playfield won't come on. Lower and upper GI are fine. I don't think it's the bulbs but of course it could be.

The reason I ask here is, I can't work out the GI info in the manual like I can for a Williams game. It seems seldom mentioned!

Anyone got any tips here?

3. Fuses. A couple of my fuses are giving a buzz intermittently (F5 and F6). Some are strong. I've read that it's best to remove fuses first on DE games because the cheap clips can be a factor. I have a fuse kit on its way so don't want to take them out just yet incase I snap some of these cheap clips.

Could a bad fuse explain issue 1 or 2 below?

Cheers!

Gi could be fuses clips or dry solder on the connectors on the ppb board. Don't worry.if you break the clips. If they break they break. Easy to replace any broken clips and I can do that for you next time I see you. I also have spare working ppb boards if you want to borrow one to to test.

Have you tried testing the switch itself with your dmm. And have you tested continuity of the row and column wiring back to other working switches on same row or column or back to the board? Maybe a break in the switch wires as the loop around the switches?

Thanks Paul.
So typical after I called it a night, put the glass back in, had a quick game, I noticed the middle ramp exit switch wasn't registering too. This is on the same column as the left ramp exit switch.

So off the glass came, and lo and behold, broken wire. Easy fix, except it's under the ramp so the ramp has to come off because there is zero chance I can solder it in such an awkward position.

Not a problem in itself though, as I need to remove the upper playfield to get to a bad bulb anyway so I am planning to use this guide: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/wwfrr-upper-playfield-removal#:~:text=There are two nuts that, pull right up and off.

But in order to do that I need to order some Titan rubbers that I want to put in and a comet LED kit.

So it's dependency after dependency.
