Road show pop bumper cap installation

Hi, looking for a bit of wiring advice.

Finally getting around to giving my roadshow an uplift and have these led pop bumpers I want to install.

As you can see it looks like the old lights were replaced with these led modules that are very faint now hence the upgrade.

The new led rings only have two connections where the old fittings have three wires connected up.

one ground and one live.

looks like the old led has the live split to each led for some reason (cheaper circuit or less voltage through smaller components?)

anyway just ignore it. on new led, red to live, black to ground.

just replaced all my pops on a fish tales for a different colour (new tops and skirts). what a ballache it was. the skirts are not designed to be swapped easily without some cutting and resoldering.
