RFM Boot Error?

I have a small stock of unopened boxes of these....

£35 plus postage per monitor if they are of any use?

Can you post a short video of your RFM and have you noticed a big difference in blacks on the machine. I have one of the first 55” LED TV’s and cannot fault it for colour and saturation.
Will do next time I'm in the games room.

@taz turbo - Done right sticking with the 4:3 ratio monitor. I am not keep on the widescreen monitors some have used. Image looks wrong.....

You are talking £50 for a used ebay LCD vs nearly £400. Did you have an LCD in before? Does it really make that much difference? Interested in hearing your views.
My RFM had a failed/failing tube, so I went with the LED unit, agreed not the cheapest, however once fitted it showed how poor the picture was on the LCD display in my SWEP1, so I changed that one out for the same LED type as I fitted to RFM. IMO the best picture will be a GOOD CRT, but when that option is gone I did what I felt was best.

Was also good to rip out the flat panel from SWEP1 as the fitting was utterly disgusting, black carboard, foam sheet and builders band, what some people think is acceptable I find amazing! It was a nice feeling to throw all the old junk in the bin.

As I said to Kenny Taylor once I get a video I'll post it up.

If it’s LED I’ll take one!
Gutted, whilst the Dell website says they are LED, the label in the back says LCD. Investigating further, they are LCD panels with LED backlight. I was planning to use them for backboxes on vpins, but wasn't able to hit the price point that people are willing to pay at a quality I would see as minimum specification. That means I have 8 NOS. Just offered it up to my RFM and looks like I have one I could use on mine if needed.

Anyway, not sure if these meet the spec desired or the LED ones mentioned are much better? The brightness ratings seem to match the Amazon linked one above.

Are they not all lcd with either led or tube backlight unless oled which I think is lit pixels?

Yeah, it’s OLED/individual pixels you need to get which would give you better blacks/contrast etc. backlite lcd works ok which I have but not as good as the original tube screen..
