Retro pie raspberry 4 Install / upgrade Help

Ok, thanks for the input. Im slowly getting there. System is up and running, just need to clean up a few things and install some usb ports. Ill show what I have done at the end to save some time

The crappy speakers need upgrading. Does anyone have suggestions for 2 stereo speakers that will give decent sound without having to spend a fortune

For example- the ones I just upgraded my spike 2 system with are these ok? or will they struggle ?

On a stern set the ohmage to the speakers in the menu.

@Pick Holder

these are the ones you used in my V pin, which seem to be good and £17.

This is my amp

Almost there
Think i’ll go with the sub zeros as cheap and already find them good

Just awaiting light guns now. System is up and running

Many thanks to Dean https://sharkade.co.uk/

without him it wouldn’t have happened

Thanks for your suggestions on how to tackle issues. I’ve decided to do fit the screen as shown and will get a 2nd horizontal strap as already there

it’s finally finished ! gun4ir arrived and programmed in and a whopping 32tb of HD installed

the gun leds seem to be working flush mounted in the wooden screen bezel and behind the perspex but this is in its beta testing stage at present

Just need some holsters now

Game on !

Just thought Id put in an update. Now at 48TB given the 16TB upgrade that happened today. Comes with a starter package built in to connect to a guy in Canada called Kris Kool Mod. It could take me up to 112TB but I have no need.
Put the TNA sub and amp to good use and also installed a new control system called PACTO 2000T that at the push of a button to switch from full use the arcade buttons over all the games to full control with XBOX wireless controllers , another Canadian product. Really happy with this as no more plugging in controllers on start up
Whilst in bits I swapped out the basic joysticks for some Sanwa units with 4lb tension springs and added an inline volume dial to easily adjust the volume.
The sub alone has made a massive difference to playing games
