The trick with the earthing is to use the in out out cables crimped into a single lug that way if you remove from an item and forget to put back the rest of the earth loop remains unaffected.
I hate that earth braid with a passion

That's how we do it when we earth ems and the like at mlp shows.Gottlieb used to do it separately too.
