Replacing a uln2803a chip - Which way up?

Hi all - Pain in the ar$e here again!

Having a second go at replacing the uln2803a chip in the roadshow. Which way up does it go? Below are pictures of the chip (pic 1) and a picture of the original chip in it (pic 2)

It's ok I think I know. The very small cut out goes to the right?

Yes to the right. I just replaced mine on my Road Show this morning.

Correct. All chips have the notch in the same direction. You’ll also see that the notch is printed on the circuit board.
