I got a new metal interrupter for the trunk in TOM.

Didn't realise this connector is too big to get out so I either try remove the two pins and re use it or I cut it and make a new one.

Is there a knack to removing the pins? I've tried screwdrivers, tweezers and a cocktail stick 🤣

And if I need to cut it off does anyone know the type of connector and where to get it?
I'm worried it'll be from one of those shops where you have to buy in bulk or pay huge shipping for just two items.

These are the best tools I've found for removing molex power pins

(Check the size!) You can get cheaper, but these are the best. Don't bother with those keyring one tool for every connector under the sun jobs they are rubbish and break after a few goes.

The connectors are standard molex, but I'd need to search for them to find them as I never remember which series is which.

I managed to use small pliers and tweezers to squeeze them pull them out.

Definitely need the correct tool so thanks for the recommendation 😁

I've always depinned these kind of connectors with a jewellers screwdriver too... Its always a little fiddle 😉 but gets the job done
