Relocating volume knob on data East

Hi all,

Has anyone relocated the volume knob on a DE game before?
Was thinking a smaller one relocated under the cab, has anyone done it before? If so, what was the method?

I have relocated a couple on older games and I generally replace the whole cable. If it is screened then you must use screened again.

I drilled a 25mm hole first.

Then mounted the pot in a metal box, connect the screen to the ground of the box. Then fix it to the base.

I use two screws in the bottom of the metal box to fit to the bottom of the cab.

Also I fit a suitable knob to the pot.

Generally I replace the pot as well!
