Hi all,

my Roadshow was playing fine and dandy at my dads but then I moved it to my new man cave (converted garage) Initially there was no sound, turned her off, checked all connections and got sound back, first game noticed no flashers working, then all left flippers got "sticky" then "pop" game goes dead. Checked fuse in plug and main fuse to right of coin door, not sure where to go now? Any ideas?

Cheers in advance,

Lonely man sat in man cave, cradling dead pin in arms......

Have you checked connection at the back of the machine, you know the over end of the mains cable (one plugs in the wall the over end plugs into the machine )

Cheers @carl lawrence and @Paul R Owen , clearly lots of loose connectors here after transit, probably need to over haul the lot tbh, so gave the pwer lead a wiggle at back of box and them facepalmed when she sprang to life, but then with no dmd, lots of cable wiggling and checking and that's back on, but, and this has been mentioned in other threads, the socket circuit trips in my garage consumer unit most times she fires up, will need to switch from a b16 to a c16 (thanks whoever it was who had that problem!) Now my start button wont trigger a game, it works when in menu so more fiddles, have a manual so will see what connectors are involved here!

Ok its a high power/connector/fuses type of thing as solenoids/ flashers etc not playing ball. Out of fuses so will pic this up another time after I've put my toys back in their pram. Checked connections on high current driver board but seeing as I don't know which end of a voltmeter is up I'm probably going to need some help!

I would keep reseating the short ribbon cable and press home the large square chip. That ribbon cable has a lot to answer for you know

Update. All good. Had to wait for a board repair as the soundboard had been donated to STTNG but pulled and reseated all connections and found a few blown fuses and now playing perfect.....It's Frrriiddayyyyyy!!.
