Hi, as a new member to pinball info and hopefully soon pinball ownership could anyone recommend any pinball books with info & pics of machines plus any books on repairs and maintenance, thanks

Depending on the era and manufacturer there are different resources. As mentioned http://www.ipdb.org/ has most operator manuals in PDF format which usually contain a wealth of maintenance and general repair info, along with schematics are parts lists.
I'm into classic era Bally and there are a couple of excellent technical references that were issued to Bally service engineers:

Regarding books .....the Pinball Compendiums are comprehensive coverage of diff eras, pricey new but lovely books.

Yes ive seen the pinball compendium books on the net pricey n cheapest ive seen was on ebay about 32 delivered so i might have to add to my birthday or xmas list, thanks
