HI all, bought this as a project, with a fault, but know little about how to fix them ! Comes up with alarm code 10 70, which is a coin mech fault, might be just hopper needs filling up, but money goes straight through to payout tray. I was told it was working before being emptied.
Takes the new £1 coin, plays and spins if not locked down, but soon as locked, message comes to call manager.
There's a few marks on it and had a repair to aluminium frame , as seen in photo's, got the 2 dongle keys for it.
Looking to get my money back on it £120

Has it still got the old coins programmed??? if so, it wont like it....

" Just had the same problem with the SR5E error 10/70 went back to the people who upgraded it and they say it's a barcrest software issue, only one set of coins can be registered on the coin mechanism so I have had all the old pounds 10ps removed and upgraded to new and it works perfectly. "

Or apparently if you change the Mech out for a cashflow cf9524e on new coins then it should go straight in.....

(I'm not an expert - just what others have said!)

Hi Paul, thanks for the reply, sounds about right to me, as i was told it was working, i haven't got a clue what to do with it, all new to me, so would rather someone who knows what they are doing have it ! :)

I have a bar rest machine and get the ‘call the manager’ shout when it is trying to honour a payout but insufficient coins in hopper. I solve it by using yellow key and adding a few pound coins (my collect button cashes in £5 at a time so I only need to add 5 at a time).

Unfortunately i dont have a 9524e else i could have popped one over (am in Risca for the next week or two...)

As above - needs a hopper top up... so will need coins in to operate (if it was sold to you as working and it's never worked since you have received it then that may be the simple fix... depending on the hopper sometimes you just have to short two plates out to make it think it's full!)

Put over £20 in hopper manually, still the same :( , can see the plates you are on about in the hopper, multi-plug to it was disconnected connected it back up, maybe i shouldn't have.
Tried it both ways, but no different, thanks for the advice guys.
