Quick TIP122 test question

Have a relay that isn't working - if I ground the TIP122 then it works.

Am I right in thinking the TIP122 could *still* be faulty ? and that this just checks everything off board is functioning

Can be - usually the fix is simple, it's figuring out what needs fixing is the tricky bit sometimes ...especially when it's electrical.

Have to say though over the years I have found most resolutions are more straightforward than first feared. Though there is usually a good session of head scratching before the lightbulb moment
