Just a quick note in case any of the newer pinball players from the last few years weren't aware of the arcade autobiography book I'd written.

I thought there was a thread for it on here but can't seem to find it and may have disappeared as it was probably four years ago now.

So copied below text from another forum about the book

Still have a few copies available in stock and can order more.

Hi

I have written a book charting my arcade experiences throughout my life, a sort of autobiography but purely arcade related, including amongst others:

- my first arcade encounters in the mid 70s at the fairground
- the golden age of video games in the early 80s
- getting hooked on fruit machines in the mid 80s
- the explosion of pinball in the pubs in the early 90s
- collecting machines in the 90s onwards
- attempting video game world record scores
- attending and competing in pinball comps UK and Europe
- running the UK pinball league
- UKVAC meets
- arcade arts and crafts I've created

The book is 480 pages, appox 23 x 15 cm in size (like a large paperback), with some photos, mainly from last 15-20 years. Cost is £25 (plus £3.50 postage unless I can pass to you at a pinball event).

See pics attached of some pages.

I've got new stock in of my book in case anyone is thinking of getting one as a Christmas present or to treat themselves?

Please set up more details or feel free to contact me if you've got any questions.

Damn, that would be a TREAT for anyone! Spouse, romantic interest, grandma, dog, army officer off on deployment, young children, POTUS, vampire - you name it THIS is the Christmas gift you have been looking for.

Dare I say you can save on P&P and maybe get a signed copy by meeting the man himself at a pinball tournament or otherwise?

Genuinely, it's a great read. Just really nostalgic reading someones elses journey into vids and pins, and remembering my own encouters with similar arcades and machines.
