Was searching (or attempting to  ) the UKPinball Yahoo group for something and came across an old Pins Anon post of some projects for sale. Might be of interest to see where things were 10 years ago :D

Hi guys

Here are some prices for a few games as projects. Must be cash or
debit card and pronto.

The Shadow - Complete, non-working, sanctum wear £400
Terminator 2 - Cab & mostly populated playfield only, no boards £150
Road Show - Inside parts of heads have been removed £500
Corvette - Was working fine, LT-5 stopped working £500
Monster Bash - non-working, complete, needs playfield touch ups £1750
Dracula - Fully working (operator owned) needs some targets replaced
(present but wrong type) £600
Addams Gold - needs side rails changing (replacements here), and
bookcase changing (replacements here), and also could do with new
gold lock down bar (I don't have one) £2500 - good playfield and
date stamp etc

Oh and back in the day Pins Annon was not one of the cheapest sellers.

Fair yes, but stuff could be had cheaper from elsewhere.
Wish Pins Annon was still with us. Sadly missed.

Hey, you might think that's bad Grizz, but look on the bright side - at least you were involved in the hobby back then and had a chance to grab a bargain. ;-)

(Although I realise it only seems a bargain looking back on it now).

Spare a thought to us poor saps who've only come into the hobby recently. I still think I got a steal paying £600 for my R&B and then I look at that price list and shake my head in wonderment.... :D

Prices are one thing, projects are another. Seems like the days of abundant beat-up pins has long gone. I'm always looking for projects, but they're few and far between now.
