PRICE RISES for my services.

I know a few of you on here are my customers, so I am putting out a blanket statement and sending emails over the next few days to people in my address book.

Due to the following facts I am rising my prices!

1 - Fuel charge. Do I need to expand. In 8 years I have not increased my call out prices. Back then diesal and insurance was a lot cheaper.
2 - I am not a side line business. I do this for a living. Not extra pocket money or a few quid in the back pocket.
3 - My premises cost me money. I pay tax.

My onsite prices and workshop prices will both rise as of now.

They are not going to be excessive and will be less than what everything else is going up by.

If fuel costs decline then the call out prices will be cut.

More than reasonable mate, I've been seriously evaluating my prices recently as well. Being the soul income now it really isn't enough and I'm getting to the stage where I'm going to end up having to find part time work just to help pay my bills. Totally insane times.

I certainly wish I had waiting lists for my 'workshop' works as you, Mark and Chris B have. I will be building that up in the next few months.

Totally agree.

There should be a #4 on that original list too tbh - inflation, Don't give yourself an annual pay-cut by not applying it

I am earning less money than I was pre-recession.

Machines back then cost about a third what they do now as well.
