Has anyone had the legs of their machine powdercoated?

Wanting to get mine done, but just looking to see how much it cost other people, to get a good idea what to expect.

Did you get the leg levellers done aswel?

TIA

I got the legs and the back box hinges sand blasted and powder coated. Cost me ~£40 for the lot. Very happy indeed wit the result - nice smooth finish in a satin black. Really helpful guy.

That seems reasonable.
How have you found the durability?

I only do the legs, not the levellers.

I also use a small plastic ring between the bolt and the legs, when screwing the leg bolts in, to stop the paint chipping off. Bag of 50 off eBay for a few quid. Also use one between the foot nut and the base of the leg.

I also do the side rails (on Sterns, easy to remove), lockdown bar, and hinges. Don’t do plunger casing or coindoor.

Allow £10 an item, possibly less, depends on your colour/finish.

Barry Parsons uses a firm in Bolton who specialise in restoring alloy wheels - Wheelgodz - and they do a pretty amazing job. Think they charge about £40

I pay £180 but always go for a metallic colour which has to have 2 different coats of powder.
I always fit new leg levellers, bolts and the protective washers.
This is the best mod you can do to any older machine, makes them look like new :)
