Pop Bumper stuck on Data East Hook **solved**

So, haven’t played in a few months and had the mpu out to fit nvram and new rom, so May have disturbed something... game plays but right hand pop coil energises and stays on when machine switched on , checked switches under playfield, now where do I go, I have manual and but how do I find relevant transistors?

Answer is a bit of patience and try to make sense of schematics! Pulled the board and checked transistors at CN19 and Q8 was bad , replaced with tp102 (was 122) as luckily I had one. All go again, although I did also have to change the coil as had got pretty hot and melted liner.
