Polishing ball guides with a dremel

I don't have room for a bench polishing wheel so I have experimented with my dremel with some success, I have obtained a much higher shine than compared to polishing by hand. In the picture below you can see the end is much shinier than the rest.

However the felt wheel attachment is quite small, is there a larger one which can make the process easier?

Did you take the grain out with wet n dry and scotchbrite first?
 
No Pete, but interestingly this is the only guide that came out this shiny.

Its seems quite patchy when you look in certain lights so I'll stick to a cotton cloth and polish by hand.

I found it incredibly difficult to get anything near to a uniform shine with a Dremel - I concluded that it was hot spots from excess friction changing the colour of the metal in places (on mine, they look like slightly different coloured 'puddles'). I ended up giving up on it as a waste of time.
