Hey People.

I have just done some much needed hole repair and touch-up on my newly acquired WCS 94 and am not too sure on what clear to use.
I used acrylic paints on the touch-ups (there is still a little blending and finishing required).
Any suggestions ?

Same as 2 part car body filler only dearer (obviously the ronseal colours stuff is handy for pf repairs). But if using for cab repairs go for body filler

Nice job, did you have to mix up a colour to match the wood?

For spot clearing you could spray some auto clear into a container and then brush it on, use a brushable clear laquer or I've also used Hard as Nails nailpolish before although this was more to seal rough edges on scoops than to go over touch ups

Cheers.

Yes I had to mix a wood colour paint as the natural colour of the filler is too light. Fortunately I have a hit of experience mixing paints as many years ago I used to paint landscapes in watercolours. I'm thinking of getting an airbrush kit for the future. Quite pleased with how it turned out for a first attempt.
