Hi all

I have a question. I bought a complete set of Stern Quicksilver plastics nearly 2 years ago from Marco specialties and one of them recently snapped when the ball hit it while I was playing.
So I looked into trying to find a replacement for the single piece and saw that someone on pinside is selling in breakable plastics.

Should I consider these? Was this just bad luck and I should expect the same thing to happen again?

Cheers.

The buzz word to look for used to be "Lexan" which is basically polycarbonate. Very tough.

Most factory plastics are "Plexiglass" which is acryllic.

I won't speak for Stern or JJP but WMS definatley used it and it does go brittle over time
